I had the pleasure of sharing my "special day" with a very, very good friend. We chose to go to Johnny's Italian Steakhouse for lunch and enjoy not only the atmosphere, but the delicious food. Everything was perfect!
I ordered the smothered portabella mushroom sandwich, but couldn't even touch it after I gorged myself on the crisp shoestring zucchini fries, the shrimp bruschetta, calamari marinara, mozzarella marinara, and sausage bread appetizers. Our server was spectacular and she accommodated us for the two hours we sat there enjoying everything.
I arrived home to a special delivery waiting for me from Mr. Wonderful...A beautiful pink Azalea in full bloom. He is soooo sweet!
It was a wonderful time, and I thank my very sincere friend for sharing with me the celebration of my special day ...
Another birthday come and gone, but I have the beautiful memories to cherish forever~

I don't usually announce it but don't worry, my birthday's always extend a few more days. We can celebrate later :) Mr. W did do a great job on the flowers as usual and I hope I do as good a job keeping them alive!

Jennifer...Thank you! Yes, I did get a new flamingo! A really cool flamingo yard ornament which I totally forgot to blog about. I have it placed in my pink azalea plant :)
