I sat down, and did my normal morning routine...got a cup of coffee, read the newspaper, picked up a little around the house, and made the bed.
Yesterday the electricians were here to install the dedicated 20 amp line to the tanning room. I couldn't talk them into helping me put the canopy on the bed no matter how much I batted my long eyelashes... so I had to wait until Mr. Wonderful got home from work last night.
We had a meeting with two gentlemen here at the house last night and thank you R & A for helping Mr W lift that 150 pound top in your suit and ties!
Now I have to spend the day decorating the room so I have a tropical place to tan!
Here you go ~before and after
Ta Da!

Never into tanning myself, but it will be nice not to leave home to do it. Just don't fall asleep!
Ramble~ It has a timer so I don't have to worry! I used to really be into tanning and stopped because you know as you get older, you worry about skin damage.
This bed is not your typical tanning bed...it minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, activates fibroblast cells which create collagen and elastin, improves skin tone, creates more skin moisture for a youthful appearance. Oh to be young again!
Damn, if it does all that, I might have to get in line! If course, I would probably have to have my whole house rewired!
Nice . I like it. Heidi wants to come over and lay naked in it. Did Mr. W install a video cam?
Great bed, Sue!
Just promise me you'll use sunscreen???
:o)
Kev...No Mr. Wonderful did NOT install a video camera...at least not that I know of! And, I'll have to talk to Heidi later :)
Jaded...on good thing about this bed is there are NO bad rays like the sun. Whew! So, no sunscreen needed :)
I used to tan (until I had to have a precancerous lesion removed from my face and got freaked out). I miss it though. It so relaxing, and in the blah of winter, I think it can help increase your seretonin levels, helping ward off winter blues. I have always wondered if you can get Vitamin D from the tanning bed, and I saw a clip on the news last week that said yes. I think the Vitamin D can help prevent cancers, so in my (naive?) way of thinking, I think maybe the benefits outweigh the risks? I'm longing to tan again.
SS...I know how you feel about tanning, but I have been told by an oncologist that if you feel the need to tan, a tanning bed is safer than baking in the sun. You don't get the dangerous rays. These beds are different...you can read more here including the medical studies: http://www.prosun.com/skin_rejuvenation.php
I have to check into the lotions that contain vitiman D :)
I want one!! And my daughter would be soooo happy. Too bad I am financially challenged for the time being. :(
Tell your daughter to start saving now :)
