It's always something!

I thought by this time yesterday I would be baking in the new tanning bed, but with my luck...it's always something!

The delivery was on time two hours late yesterday, but the good new is...a couple of green bills (okay it was a few dollars more) the delivery man helped get it some where closer to the basement than we could have ever done by ourselves. I could have probably lifted the 300 pound package IF I had been lifting weights for the past 50 years!

The informative people at the tanning bed place told me all you have to do is switch your outlet to accommodate the ground plug (no problem) and so we didn't have to make a trip to the hardware store they threw one in for a measly $5.00.

Mr. Wonderful has everything ready and set to go EXCEPT and I really mean a BIG except the outlet is 10 amps and this monstrosity of a human oven requires 20 amp.

Monday the electrician will be here to do the wiring...Grrrrr....it's always something!

Wow...sounds like my life! You get a tanning bed so you don't have to drive somewhere far to tan, and the amp is wrong and now will cost you more. I get a new little laptop to save my big one from daily wear and tear to the office (and fits in my purse) and have to spend more to get Windows so that I can run my calendar software, and an 8GB SD card to run Office. Total cost: $600. I could have purchased a full size HP or Toshiba for that!

GA...I don't know what it is with luck now a days...I look on the bright side, at least we didn't have to cut the doorway and make it bigger to fit this thing in the room! And I'm just glad none of the bulbs were broken! (knock on wood)

Thanks WS... Mr Wonderful better have tightened up the bolts on the canopy, or else! I wouldn't want this happening to me...but with my luck? Yikes!

From the well-worn book of Trite Old Sayings, comes, "If at first you don't succeed......." Watched the video. That was one heck of an ouch!!

Ramble...I agree! That is one of my biggest fears..150+ pounds clamping down on me! Open it up and those won't be black pearls you'll find in this clam shell!

I want one!!!

With all the money I have spent paying for tans I probably could have bought one by now.

Hope its up and running soon.

Ch yah...I think of all the money I have spent on tanning too, but this is more than just a tanning bed. It's skin rejuvenating phototherapy that is used in spa's. So, not only will I have a healthy glow but look younger! Think of the money I will save on botox!

Have fun with it Flam... I wonder if I would get addicted to it if it were in my house??? Working on a new car now, so, alas, I will have to put off my jealousy and enjoy a new car!

Julie...the bed wasn't as much as a new car...well not yet! It cost $600.00 for the electrician today and I had to order some sanitizer and tanning lotion! Do I hear ching ching?

I am hoping I won't become "Tanorexic" but I am thinking, with all I have to do around here...I hope I get to use it a couple times a week!
