Good-bye 1205
We closed on the other house today after almost a year to the day of having it on the market for sale. It was a sad day for us saying good-bye to our old house which we loved so dearly...
So, to help ease the pain of the departure we went out and purchased a bottle of champagne...not only for us, but to share with our friends~

No better way to celebrate such a bittersweet moment!
We're looking forward to celebrating with you, W, and Dom tomorrow. :)
Congratulations on the sale! It's too bad you had to go through such an awful Realtor experience before you found someone willing to work hard to sell it!
Letting go is never easy. Time to let go of any unhappy thoughts and hang on to the good memories. Don't let anything tarnish those good memories.
becs...We are going to miss that old house. It had an awesome flamingo room!
rixblix...it will be fun celebrating with you too! And NO, I am NOT filling up the pool with Dom Perignon! You crack me up BFF!
ramble...it was hard, and I cried at the closing. Good memories we always hang on to, but with this new house we have so many, and more to come! Thank you for sharing those with us!
Sad, but the move seems to have been a good one! And why no Dom in the pool? I was going to bring my suit and a straw! :)
Linda...Bring your suit and a straw...I made more pear margaritas! Not for the pool, but as always we will be swimming in alcohol.
Thank You everyone who celebrated with us today...what a great time!
Glad the house finally sold... what do you know about our new neighbors?? Kids, etc?

julie...He's a single guy (age?) met him at the closing, and he's a really super nice guy! He said he would take care of our house, and invite us for BBQ's. If you attended the picnic you should have met him. He was looking forward to meeting all the neighbors. Stop by and say "hi". I am sure he would love to meet all the wonderful neighbors.
