Santa Paws

Ever since the pet food scare we have been using The Pet Pantry for the Big Boy. The other day I was on the phone placing an order, and asked if I could do something different...I got to thinking about the dogs and cats at Paws and wondered if I could make a donation of food, treats and litter.

Today I got my regular delivery and talked to Sue, the owner of Pet Pantry and she said that she talked to Paws and they already get their food and litter from another source but they could always use treats.

So, today I ordered 20 pounds of biscuits to be delivered to Paws! Let me tell you...20 pounds for $30.00 equals around 750 to 800 biscuits!

I feel like Santa Paws!

Thank you Diane~ I got to thinking about the homeless pets and wanted to make their holiday's happy too... We do tend to forget...pets are people too! Even the helpless, homeless ones! Happy Holidays to all at Paws and I can't say enough for all the generousity The Pet Pantry has done to help out the shelters around Peoria!

Jeep~ That's what I thought too! We give money to Paws, Anti-Cruelty Society, Humane Society, Taps, etc. but thought this would be something special for the puppy dogs. They don't give anything to the cats as I was told...cats just don't like treats, and I am sure they don't want to give them any catnip! :)
