You got one! Looks like his little buddy isn't fallin' for it!
rix...the funny thing is that I didn't realize one fell in until I looked at the video. LOL!
Da bucket is gettin' full!
You go Flam!!
Bucket of FAIL!
I can't believe there's still yet more in the pool cover housing!! Wow!
Jimi...that's as close as I'm going to get to take a picture of them...If it gets any warmer in the pool room, I'll have me some soup!
GA... I think I got the little community of them...the activity is slowing down. Either that or they got smart and moved...wishful thinking! :)
GA...I need to edit my comment to you. The activity has "died" down :)
What kind of sicko are you orchestrating and videotaping munkicide!!! (jk)
poor, poor chip and dale
If you took a picture it would be one of Epic Fail.
becs...I didn't know I was capturing the plunge, but it's a good thing I got it documented because now you know it works.
jimi...no more pictures...well, maybe one more :)
So was this bucket of your own inviention? Because you could market your own pink buckets of death... you even have promotional video already :)
becs...no, unfortunaltely it wasn't my idea (darn) A fellow local blogger, Tim posted it a year ago. I remembered who it was and searched his archives:

Funny thing though...the A/C man was here today and he said he does the same thing only he uses a soda can with a wire running through it and then smears peanut butter on the can. When the rodent hops on the can, it rotates and walla...drops into the water. He said it works for catching mice too! I might try that when I run out of sunflower seeds :)
So what's the count up to now? How many of those suckers fell pray to the Bucket O' Deathmunk?
GA...only two so far, but I haven't set the trap in a few days. I think the little munkies went on vacation. I haven't seen any activity in a couple days. You think they got smart and figured out this food was their last meal? And swimming isn't fun afterall?
Ok, scratch my last comment...they're baaaack! And the trap is set again! Those dirty little rats are now taking the moss out of my artificial plants and stealing it! I'll show them!
