BYE

No, No, No, don't worry, I am not quitting blogging like some person we all know and love~ By the way...glad to see you back, and blogging again PAP 2.0.

The other night we heard sirens, and when you live in a community with the population of 950 people, more than likely the emergency is going to be either close by or someone you know.

The sirens faded so we thought nothing more about it, and went about our usual way until the sirens started up again, and became louder as they grew closer. Sure enough you could hear the roar of the fire engines traveling down the road, and in no time they were passing our house.

I immediately ran outside to see if I could determine which neighbor they were heading towards. The first fire truck passed quickly, and was out of sight. A second one speeds by, and turns directly into the neighbors driveway kitty corner across the street. What the...the first fire engine passed the house? Not a good sign~

Then next comes an ambulance, and then another. I of course had my camera in hand, with the telephoto lens attached pretending to be the neighborhood paparazzi cause you know... this is good blogging material!

I watched as they carried someone out on a stretcher, and carefully lifted it up into the back of one of the ambulances. In a matter of minutes they sped off, and were on their way hopefully to the nearest hospital.

All the excitement for the evening was over, and I sat here with Mr. Wonderful. He turned to me and said... Honey, if anything ever happens to me, do me a favor...Don't call that ambulance service~I don't want to be riding in a vehicle down the road that says...BYE
At least it doesn't say"Good Bye"

I went to breakfast one sunny Sunday. In fact I was invited and lo and behold, no Flamingo could be seen. Such is the sad story.
