WARNING!
This post is NOT for the weak!
It was a nice weekend despite the rain, high humidity, and 90 degree temperatures. Saturday we were invited to a BBQ...the food was delicious and we enjoyed seeing friends, and meeting new ones.It was a great time!
Sunday morning I was going through the ads in the newspaper, and noticed that Best Buy had Wii Fitness, so I immediately called to see how many they had, and asked if they could hold one for me until we got there, but unfortunately their policy sucks and they can't. So, Mr. Wonderful was out the door and on his way into Peoria before I was off the phone. By the time he got there, they were all sold out...So much for my Wii Fitness...Needless to say, I was very disappointed.
One of the air conditioning units in the house bit the dust so we decided to spend the rest of the day in the basement where it was cooler. There are so many things to do down there especially after the "not so great flood" we had two weeks ago.
Then I decided I would vacuum the pool so that Mr. Wonderful and I could take an evening dip. The water was looking so clear, but there was some left over sediment on the bottom that needed to be removed. After all the problems I've had with the water I want to make sure I keep up with the maintenance...
I didn't have the cover completely open, so in order to get the deep end vacuumed I had to open it the rest of the way. I noticed from across the room that there was something floating in the water. What could it be? The closer I got the clearer it was...One of my Olympic swimmers!
Mr. Wonderful grabbed the net to scoop it out of the water, but you know first I had to run and get my camera! OMG! Look how clear the water is! You can see the bottom in the deep end...and this~
No...it's not doing the side stroke...it doesn't have a little raft under it...it's not playin' possum...and I didn't do it!

There goes your money making strategy... darn little bugger got too cocky. As we always say "Never swim unsupervised!"
I totally would have screamed had I found that in my pool!
becs...I did scream... "Don't take it out of the pool until I get my camera! This is good blogging material." Good thing stuff like that doesn't bother me. Now if it were bleeding, that would be a different story.
Hell, I got thre dead baby birds that blew out of a tree in my yard and I'm praying something eats them before I'm FORCED to go pick them up! YUCK!
