Happy Halloween~

I didn't blog yesterday because I was suffering from blogger block, I just had one of those days.

I am planning a little get together with some special friends at our house this weekend so I have been trying to get a menu together, and working on some kind entertainment for our guest's. It's sort of a last minute party, and I'm not having any luck in the amusement department...Sorry folks, I guess you'll just have to put up with ME as the entertainment!


I am deeply regret that I didn't make it to the blogger bash last night! I heard it was awesome! A great turnout and a lot of good fun! I had originally planned on going but had an emergency dental appointment at the end of the day. If you have read my blog before you know I am not fond of the dentist!


Plus I had gotten some devastating news earlier in the day that literally bummed me out. Someone who we had met after we bought this house in July, and that did some work for us around here passed away. It was a shock because we had just talked to him not to long ago, and planned on getting together with him and his lovely wife. I don't understand and probably never will...But I believe~Life is to short...Fuckin' live it up today because you might not be able to tomorrow!


On a brighter note...Thank you Peoria Illinoisan for the EAR WORM! For the last couple days I've had to listen to Mr. Wonderful try and remember the words to that song... "Oh, I wish I was in Peoria, Peoria tonight..." If he's not singing it, he's humming it!

No Trick or Treater's here tonight...We kind of figured that we wouldn't out here in the country but like good scouts... we were prepared! Two large bags of assorted goodies sitting there all lonely in the bowl by the door~And now to think I have all that candy that's going to go to waste... my waist!
