It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yesterday we are in a lot of different stores, and like everyone else we have noticed the Christmas decorations are up, and holiday music playing in the background. It doesn't upset me to think that the Jolly Holidays are right around the corner because I am just about done with my Christmas shopping. If I decided to get the rest of the people on my list gift cards then I could say I am officially done.

Everyone that knows us knows that we always keep our Christmas tree up all year round, but since we moved we haven't put it up yet. We decided we would stick to tradition, and put it up closer to Christmas.

So, today I thought why not put up the tree? I really should be putting up Halloween decorations, but the box with the tree in it was right there...

Besides...Mr. Wonderful is going to be so surprised when he gets home tonight... I did it all by myself!
I am sooooo proud of ME!

Okay...it does look funny without all the tinsel and decorations on it, but it's a start!

Merry Christmas!

I can't wait to do the Christmas decorating this year. I bought a bunch of new decorations on clearance last year and we were given a third Christmas tree so hopefully I can have the type of tree I want.

OMG... My husband just told me the other day "Hey, you know the people that keep their Christmas tree up all year round? There house is up for sale". So of course I go by there and see Diane's lovely sign up in front, and like an epiphany, it all comes together! Hey... I know those people. I guess I really don't know those people, but I have been reading your blog and it is all making sense now. Apparently were were neighbors... who knew?

Anon...it is? I followed the directions :)

EBB:My tree consist of pink lights and flamingos...My husband will have his own "sports" tree.

Julie: Yep, that was us! And if you remember it had pink lights and flamingo's on it. Yeah, it's funny...you knew a lot of people in the neighbrohood from them walking around but never really knew them. And we were known as the people that keep their Christmas tree up all year round. And remember Halloween how we used to decorate the yard and the house? Now I'm really missing the neighborhood! :(
psssst... you wanna buy a house? :)

Got one, just a block over, thank you very much. We always hit your house at Halloween... good times! Lots of houses for sale on your former street! Hope all goes well for you, but knowing your realtor, I know it will!
