This was the first year we had ever attended and would definitely go back again next year. I wasn't sure what I was going to expect and had asked a few friends that have gone in the past what it was like. How come nobody told me to wear comfortable walking shoes! I'll know better next year~
It was crowed but not that bad...I have been in worse crowds at a sale at Bergner's around Christmas! The entertainment was spectacular, the talent show, dance and especially the fashion show!
Food, food, food! If you were hungry, you were guarantee not to be after you left.! I have never seen so many samples of food. Of course I didn't sample anything because I am on this perpetual diet but I did sample and get three bottles of kick ass barbecue sauce that I am going to serve next weekend for some very special guest.
Fun on the Run had a booth there also. I have heard of them but thought they were geared more for kids. Little did I know they also cater to us big kids! Well, at least I thought they had some interesting attractions~ There was this big green inflatable man there which I thought was just a display but it's called a walk around...Too Cool! I got to get one of those for my next shindig! Of course I carry my handy dandy (dinky) digital camera with me where ever I go and got my picture taken with The Jolly Green Giant man...Okay, I think it's Frankenstein but he didn't scare me!
Nice picture....why didn't somebody tell me brush my hair and put on some fresh lipstick first?
Nice picture....why didn't somebody tell me brush my hair and put on some fresh lipstick first? There were many things to do and see and buy! Luckily I brought Mr. Wonderful along so he could carry all my packages! Besides the three bottles of BBQ sauce, I got seven soy candles, some treats for the Big Boy, and some DGNY doggie cologne, and lots of other things...
I would highly recommend everyone going next year, I'll be there again for sure!
Now I can't wait for the 2007 Home Holiday Show Yes Mr. One Stop Home Shop...I'll be there! I'm gonna shop 'til I drop!
We went and did more shopping afterwards and if any one knows me, you don't have to twist my arm to get me to do that! Mr. Wonderful was on a mission this weekend to replace the belts on three of my vacuums. I don't know what it is but in the past couple months the belts have snapped! I guess I vacuum too much! My vacuums aren't new ones so we had to go to the vacuum store that carries the now discontinued replacement parts. I was hoping to get a new one (hint hint)
Yesterday we spent by the television watching Da' Bears...I won't even go into that...but I could have predicted it!
It was a great weekend, we got a lot done so it just goes to show...Weekends weren't just made for Michelob~ Well, maybe they were :)

The Women's Lifestyle Show sounds like fun. That is something I would never have thought I would like to do. I will likely go next year.
