I'm "Falling" part 1

It's Fall...and the season I like the best, and well, it sounds better than I'm "Autuming" or "Octobering" or better yet, "Halloweening". It's October and even though the weather has been unseasonably warm, the trees aren't changing colors like they should be... the pumpkins and apples are here! This weekend we decided to go pumpkin hunting, and do some Halloween shopping.

We usually go to the most crowded, expensive or should I say, over priced pumpkin farms around. Thanks to Peoria Illinoisan for suggesting we check out Christ Apple Orchard. He said "you've tried the rest, now try the best!" So we took his advise and took a drive on Saturday morning, and we are so glad we did! And yes, they had apples...all kinds and even someone standing there cutting off samples to taste... Yum!
Home made jellies, jam's, marmalade's...you name it, they got it! Everything imaginable...and they looked oooh soooo gooood! I think I gained 10 pounds taking this picture!Pumpkins? Did someone say Pumpkins? This is just one of the pictures I took...if you want to see the more pictures you'll have to go there and see for yourself! I highly recommend it!

I would suggest NOT swinging on that swing...That's a walnut tree...
Unless you want to get clobbered on the head by falling walnuts!

Then after seeing this cutie, I have decided to become a vegetarian this Thanksgiving! And here is Mr. Wonderful with all the goods we got...

After the pumpkin farm we had to go to a few other stores to get more decorations and lights.. And what would a shopping trip be if I didn't get something unusual, and nothing pertaining to Halloween? I found these little treasures...I told Mr. Wonderful...

Is there such a thing as a "flock of frogs" ?

After we get all the decorations up I will post more pictures...Hopefully pictures of the trees turning colors too!

I can't wait to "Fall" some more!
