I got to thinking the other day, I have never blogged about my Budgie Buddy little bird...she's not pink (darn) not a flamingo but she has been with us for 5 years and is very special... I've blogged about The Big Boy, Kermie and Gil...now here's Peep!
When I got her she was just a baby who couldn't hardly fly so I took her under my wing and we bonded immediately! She has a large vocabulary for a Parakeet and chats up a storm...who taught her to say damn? Um, not me! She is definitely more parrot than keet!

I'm thrilled. I went to "a"viary "a"ssociation.org (aa.org), and they have such great pictures of budgies and birds of all types ... it was fantastic. So, we all have to thank the "anonymous", but very tiny birdie species (chickenus shiticus) for her insightful and thorough research of the internet. That's a cool bird. It's so funny when they say things. I want one. Of course, I don't know if the cats would get along with a bird!
Peep is really cool, and she talks up a storm for a parakeet! I have had bird's and cats and they all got along~ It's not like Tweety and Sylvester...at least I hope not!
