I was sent that very picture by a friend of mine. The title on it was, "Bird Flu Infects Trailer Park." I laughed so hard, I cried!

You and me too on the sense of humor -- I've been trying to figure it out, but haven't yet. Perverse, perverted ... I don't know ... but somehow I've gotten used to it.
All I have to say is that when we got married, we had an agreement... Flamingos in this room ... only. And then, gradually, the frigging things migrated ... started showing up in the kitchen, dining room, bathroom. Crap ... flamingos everywhere ! Then, I got used to them, and actually enjoyed the mornings before work, in the "Flamingo Room", drinking my coffee, watching ESPN, and contemplating the day ahead. Maybe just the "pink" chilled me out and relaxed me.
Anyway, I used to have blood pressure at 170/105 ... but with the flamingos, I'm now down to 130/85 ... pink is therapeutic I guess. I'm thinking about writing an article for the AMA disclosing this dramatic finding ... or maybe not.
Mr. Wonderful, I don't know if you could ever sell me on the flamingo/pink stress reduction/blood pressure theory. But, heck, if only for the placebo effect, keep up the faith! Tell yourself there's a legitimate reason for tolerating the birds and their pervasive color :)
This picture becomes funny to me with the added caption about the trailer park. I need that supplied, because I'm not witty enough to imagine such a caption (I'm a little slow and methodical when it comes to humor).
