Flamingos are gregarious wading birds in the genus Phoenicopterus and family Phoenicopteridae. They are found in both the Western and Eastern Hemispheres, but are more numerous in the latter. There are four species in the Americas while two exist in the Old World. Now you know~

Very cool. I love humming birds. When I was younger, we use to have one of those feeders. I could spend hours watching them.
A friend of mine stopped by today and was admiring my humming bird feeder and she said you actually don't need "red" nectar to attract the birds...what attracts them is the "red" on the base. Of course I bought the pre-made nectar where all I have to do is add water and stir and it's already "red" So, here I am thinking...I can make my own and make it PINK!
