This summer I was shopping at a rummage sale, well actually I had volunteered to work it as a favor for my neighbor, and couldn't resist some of the good deals that people had donated. I ran across this little mail box and thought to myself, I could use this...

I think it had a price tag on it for a whole nickel and since the proceeds of the sale were going to charity, I paid a dollar for it...yeah, it's just the way I am. So, I brought it home and explained to the Hubby (Big Bird) that from now on if the flag is up that means he's got mail. So, I wrote a cutesy mushy love note and stuck it in there for him. It took him a while to figure out that he had mail but when he remembered, he was so happy! It's almost like being teenagers again, passing secret notes back and forth. I know you guys are probably thinking, WTF is wrong with her or "they probably aren't married" but I'm sentimental (senti-mental?) and we are married...
So this morning, I'm having a typical "Monday" and low and behold, the red flag is up on the mail box! I hurry to get "my" mail and inside is the cutest package with flamingo's on it! A little note attached that read: While I was in Border's I saw this and thought of you...Love You, yadda yadda yadda... So, this is what I got!

How sweet and a perfect way to start a Monday....
