I finally got up the pink nerve to start a blog... okay, so I got a lot of nerve but that's besides the point.
So, here I go...I am a little nervous (imagine that) but nothing that a pink cocktail won't help me get over. I've got my flamingos surrounding me to give me the pink strength to go on.
Here' today's adventure in Flamingo Land, just west of PeeeOria, yeah that's right, I betcha didn't know it existed...Okay, it's really Brimfield :) but I can make shit up because this is MY blog!
So, today, we are gettin' ready to head into town (sound like a real country girl eh?) and I haffta figure out what flamingo attire to wear. I go thru all my clothes and pick out an outfit I never thought I would be seen in public wearing. It was GREEN! I bought this lime green skirt, really tacky looking one months ago, (probably years but don't tell the hubby) and decided to wear it. Oh it has sequins sewn on and a weird paisley design on it. I wore a cream color top and green flip flops! What the heck was I thinking? I couldn't wait to get home and change into a comfy pink flamingo T-shirt.
While at the Brimfield Days I bought three new T-shirts...it was almost like they knew I needed them! BTW, if you have never been to Brimfield Days or Settler's Days as I think they call it, you really should...
So, I wasn't thinking really PINK today, but I will get back into the pink of things...today was all about "tacky"
