Every day I read the PJ Star mainly online, but if I have the energy early in the morning, I walk to the newspaper box to retrieve it. I have my order of what I read first...The front page, news, sports, then the police reports because you know, you just have to find out what crime is being committed around you.
This morning I am reading this...
Its driver, told police she had been driving east on McClure Avenue, pulled into the lot and stopped in front of the liquor store so her three children could go inside to buy candy.
This got me to thinking...what kind of candy do they sell at a liquor store?
Sloe Gin Suckers? they last all day!
Tequila Tootsie Pops?
Amaretto Almond Joy?
Miller Milky Ways?

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing when I read that this AM. Considering there is a gas station directly across the street that I am certain sells the old fashioned Snicker, Mars, Hersheys, Paydays, and Starbursts.
I don't know...maybe it's just me but who takes their kids into a liquor store to buy candy? I don't think she was going in there just for "candy". Good excuse to tell the cops though...sounds better than "I was going in there to get a gallon of Jack, a couple cases of beer :)
